Museum's Mission

Exploration of sports cultural heritage, creation and distribution of new ideas and knowledge of Sport in Latvia, from the beginnings of organized sport to the multiplicity of nowadays modern sport – with an aim to educate the society, especially youth, to strengthen the national self-esteem and identity, to inspire an individual and create a desire to participate in sports activities, promoting formation of a healthy, creative, free and responsible society.
